1. In highly complex societies, one is likely to find a number of subcultural groups in addition to the mainstream culture.

고도로 복잡한 사회에서는 주류 문화에 덧붙은 수많은 하위문화 집단을 발견하기 쉽다.

 

 

2. The use of the terms subculture and mainstream culture should in no way imply that subcultures are inferior or any less worthy of study.

3. Rather, subcultures are subsets of the wider culture.
